Simran, the founder of SSA,  is a  gold medalist and scholarship holder in Mathematics Honors from Punjab University  and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies , Delhi University, with over 25 years of experience in the industry with leading brands including  Bata, Madura Garments, Littlewoods of UK (now Westside), Fabindia and independent consulting. She has held workshops for, and consulted with, a number of leading Indian brands and retailers. Her articles have appeared in prominent business publications including The Economic Times and Business Standard. Simran has also been a popular visiting faculty at the NIFT, MICA, NID and Pearl.

Simran spends a significant amount of time with the not-for-profit sector – both in a professional and a personal capacity.
